This French barrette features my original watercolor and ink painting of goldfinches perched among wildflowers. Handmade in my North Carolina studio, it is available in four sizes and makes a beautiful everyday accessory or a thoughtful gift.

I've loved birds since childhood; watching, identifying, drawing, and painting them. These goldfinches are enjoying the seeds from the Echinacea (purple coneflowers).
