The hair clip arrived thoughtfully packaged in a cute box. The color is just as depicted, and the smooth, shiny finish of the material makes it feel extra refined. A small detail I really appreciate is the way the edges and corners were sufficiently rounded off to prevent easy accidental cuts on a sharp edge. In terms of size, it’s just about big enough to hold my hair (thin and fine strands, moderate thickness for reference) in a ponytail. It kept my hair up for a whole day without slipping, and has not snagged any hair strands at all! It’s everything you’d need and want in a visually unique hair accessory.
If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. When I first received the barrette it had the old style back which didn't work for my thick hair. Robbin replaced the back for me free of charge and shipped it back to me. I could not be happier with this barrette. It is so beautiful, light, and durable. Had bought it for my supervisor for a secret Santa for Christmas 2024 and she wore it the very next day. And wore it again when she got back from Christmas Vaca. She loved it that much. Thing is, when I saw it, I kind of didn't want to give it to her anymore, they were beautiful; but I had already got them for her. Overall, they were to my expectations and more ❤️
