This porcelain ornament features my painting of a great blue heron. The artwork has realistic shading and details, and is dyed permanently into the smooth, glossy surface. Handcrafted in my studio, this high quality ornament is about 2.75" in diameter, and 1/8" thick. It is tied with a white satin ribbon and shipped securely in a gift box inside a bubble mailer to prevent breakage.
Add personalization (name and year) if desired. Makes a great gift for a bird lover!

From the artist
I think herons are fascinating. It's remarkable how gracefully they move on their long, thin legs.
